This group is not classified as Irish, however, it's listed here as Ian Olney [ex-Power Of Dreams] was a core member. Along with vocalist and lyricist, John Patrick Higgins, he formed the group in 2007. Ben Pestell [Bass Guitar], Si Endacott [Guitars] and MK Smith [Drums] made up the remainder of the personnel. Red Atlas played guitar-driven indie-pop. Very little else is known about the group. The project came to an end in 2010. However, in 2012, a compilation entitled 'Ticking Like A Cartoon Bomb ... The Best Of Red Atlas'.
