information available, please send this to the following address feedback@irishmusicdb.com OVERVIEW Swerve was a Clonmel-based band whose membership included Paul Walsh and Andrew Kennedy. The pair later appeared in Jove with Walsh later going on to front the sucessful Royseven. The band released two EPs as well as the album 'Nine Of Wands' on their own record label, however, the details of these releases are sketchy. After the band split, Andrew went on to play with bands such as Gwenivere and The Wilnotts before reuniting with Paul Walsh in Jove. That band played together from 1997 - 2003. On Kennedy's departure in 2003, Jove renamed itself Royseven. Paul Walsh continued to front this new outfit which went on to significant Irish and international success - most notably in Germany. Kennedy went on to perform with the Clonmel based Stars@45 for a period. After the departure of that band's lead singer, the remaining members recruited Paulie Grant [ex-The Wilnotts] and became a power pop band known as New Clear Days. The band wasactive for a short period recording an amount of demo material without anything getting a formal release. Between 2008 - 2010, Kennedy performed with the Madrid-based band blancatransfer, with whom he toured and recorded an amount of material. He has also been performing with The Cafe Folk.
