The group came together after Paddy O'Mahony left Stars@45. The remaining members recruited Paul Grant, formerly of The Wilnotts, and became New Clear Days. The band's line up also included Andrew Kennedy on bass guitar. Andrew had earlier played with the likes of Swerve and Jove. The band is known to have a recorded a significant amount of material, however, there were no official releases. Andrew later went on to perform with the Madrid-based band blancatransfer and The Cafe Folk.
