The group was formed in 1997 by Tipperary natives, Paul Walsh [Vocals] and Andrew Kennedy [Bass Guitar], amongst others. The part had previously performed together in Swerve. Darragh Oglesby,Eamonn Barrett [Guitar], also played with the band. In 2004, Jove won the 'Hot Press Ignition Unsigned Competition'. By this time, Andrew had left the outfit. With the change in personnel, the band decided on a name change and became Royseven. Jove's release history is unknown.
