OVERVIEW
Igloo was a relatively short-lived indie-rock band. The group was active during the latter half of the 1990s, intially with a line up of Kevin Murphy [Vocals & Bass Guitar], Cian Roche [Guitar] and Barnes Goulding [Drums]. Kevin had previously performed with Interference and The Back Lane Boys while Barnes had been working with The Flaps and Coade. Tara Egan-Langley is also known to have been a vocalist with the band for a period. She is better known for her work with The Wilde Oscars and Kaydee as well as her solo persona, Tara Blaise.

The band released one EP, 'Great Motivator' during its career. The 3-track single which was released in 1997 featured, 'Shiver' and 'Cheesquake' as well as the title track. 'Shiver' made appearances on a number of compilations, most notably on 'For A Quick Release Of Tension' [1997].

After the band split, Tara went on to join Kaydee before 'becoming' Tara Blaise. Kevin would later re-emerge as one half of Seti The First who released the acclaimed 'Melting Cavalry' album in 2012.
