CARLOW | KILKENNY | WEXFORD | WICKLOW 2012 - 2015
OVERVIEW
The Scenes were a rock band from the South East of the country. The group came together in about 2012 and featured members from the well known Kilkenny band, Saving J. The full line up included Seán Watmore [Vocals & Guitar], Liam Redmond [Lead Guitar & Vocals], Eamon McEvoy [Bass Guitar], Mick Kelly [Lead Guitar & Vocals] and Alan Farrell [Drums]. Tom Ward played drums on the video for 'Fish Out Of Water', however, it's unknown if he was a full member of the band.

The Scenes sound was indie-rock with the band drawing influence from the likes of Biffy Clyro, The Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins.

The band released three singles during its relatively short lifetime. Their debut release, 'Get Set Go' was released in 2012, 'She Said' followed a year later with the band's final output, the 'Alone' EP appearing in September 2014.

In June 2015, the band announced it was to split. However, Seán, Liam and Eamon would go on to play together as Those Black Marks.
