OVERVIEW Saramai was a musical project fronted by Saramai Leech. She comes from good musical stock in Co. Meath with her brother beig none other than Oisin Leech of The Lost Brothers. While Saramai previously fronted Saramai & The Swords, this particular project featured Cormac O'Keeffe [Guitar & Vocals] and Aimie Mallon [Drums]. Saramai's sound has drawn comparisons to the likes of Tori Amos and Kate Bush and it's easy to understand why. However, her music has its own sense of originality and honesty. During its lifetime, the band released two EPs and two singles. Towards the end of 2016, the project seemed to dissolve with Saramai and her partner, Cormac formed Pearly and moved to Berlin.
