When that band broke up prematurely in 1993, Joe decided to pursue a solo career. After witnessing the drowning of his best friend, Joe turned to gospel musical. He has since gone on to release a number of fine albums of this genre. These releases have included the albums 'The Great Commission' [2001] and 'Maybe We Can Start Again'.
