OVERVIEW
The story of The Bleedin' Bleedins began when Barry Kelly moved from Ireland to Boston in 2004. When there, he met two like-minded musicians in vocalist Michael Coen and multi-instrumentalist David Franz. In 2004, The Bleedin' Bleedins was formed. The band draw inspiration from the classic rock, indie and indie dance bands. In 2005, in spite of their diverse backgrounds, the trio were chosen to represent Ireland at the SXSW Festical in Austin, Texas.The following year saw the group unveil their debut album, 'Life Without Computers'. The collection was well received. In 2008, the band was back at the SXSW Festival flying the flag for Ireland. Later that year, the band underwent a name change and became Midatlantic. In August of that year, the band released their new album 'The Longest Silence' under their new moniker.
