OVERVIEW

Midatlantic is an Irish-inspired, American-based group. Irishman, Barry Kelly moved to the US in 2000 and formed The Bleedin' Bleedins in 2004 with Michael Coen and David Fraz. The trio released the album 'Life Without Computers' in 2005. They went on to represent Ireland at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas in both 2006 and 2008. Later in 2008, the band decided on a name change and became Midatlantic. The name change was just in time for the release of the new album 'The Longest Silence' which was dropped in August of that year.
