The band line up featured Brian Ashe [Vocals], Chris Sweeney [Drums], Mark Maguire [Guitar] and Aido Murphy [Bass Guitar]. Sweeney had previously played with another Tallaght band, The Shells. The band is known to have released an eponylously-titled EP. Sometime after this, the band felt a name change was required and The Barricades became The Cades. In 2010, Mark Maguire joined the ranks of Bipolar Empire. Brian went on to front Leaders Of Men.
