The group pre-dates the better known band, Rest. The line up was Wretch was the same as the initial line up of Rest which included Graham Lynch [Guitar], Stephen Barry [Guitar & Vocals], Mark Power [Bass Guitar] and Johnny Lynch [Drums]. The group was heavily influenced by American cult-rockers Kyuss and incorporated a number of their tracks in to their live show. Unlike Rest. Wretch was also a vocal group with Stephen singing. In 2001, the band decided on a change in direction and Wretch became Rest, the instrumental rock band we know today. There are no known releases from Wretch.
