OVERVIEW Wicker Bones is a folk / trad band based in Dublin. The group came together in 2009 with members from varying musical backgrounds The line up features Bryan Dunphy [Guitar, Vocals & Electronics], Keelan Byrne [Bouzouki, Banjo & Whistle], Ian Grahame [Mandolin & Melodeon], Dylan Curran [Violin & Double Bass] and Neil Holland [Bodhrán & Percussion]. Dylan had previously played with Alanalda. Bryan had performed with the Se-Teada Guitar Quartet. The pair had played together along with Keelin aas part of the Djeoh! Konsortium. Ian and Neil had been part of The Bifters prior to joining the Wicker Bones Band. In 2010, the band entered the studio with Tony O'Brien to record its debut EP. The result was 'The Martry Sessions' EP which was released in October of the following year. The EP was warmly received and received critical acclaim.
