OVERVIEW Walking On Cars is rock band from Dingle, Co. Kerry. The group was formed in 2010 by five school friends - Patrick Sheehy [Vocals], Sorcha Durham [Piano], Dan Devane [Lead Guitar], Paul Flannery [Bass Guitar] and Evan Hadnett [Drums]. Very early on in their career, the band rented a house on the Dingle Peninsula with the aim to listen to music, shape their sound and write their own material. The band spend six months in the house - six productive months. In 2012, the band won the Redbull Bedroom Jam which resulted in great coverage of their debut single, 'Catch Me If You' which entered the Irish charts, peaking at #27. In 2013, the band released their first full EP, 'As We Fly South' which included 'Tick Tock' and 'Two Stones' as well as the aforementioned single and title track. Another year brought with it another record as the 'Hand In Hand' EP was released in 2014. All this time, the group was building up a growing legion of admirers. The band then focused their attention on readying their debut record. The album, 'Everything This Way' was released in January 2016. The album topped the Irish albums chart.
