OVERVIEW Villagers is an award winning band fronted by Conor O'Brien. He came to prominence in the early 2000s as part of The Immediate. When the group split in 2007, Conor branched out as a solo artist. He has since recruited a group of like-minded individuals and collectively they perform as Villagers. Conor's co-collaborators are James Byrne [Drums], Cormac Curran [Keyboards], Tommy McLaughlin [Guitar] and Danny Snow [Bass Guitar] who have collectively played with the likes of Berkeley, Life After Modelling, The Maladies and One Day International. Villagers made their debut live appearance supporting The Chapters at Whelans in November 2008. Since this inauspicious start, the band has gone on to release a string of award-winning albums - 'Becoming A Jackal' [2010], {Awayland} [2012], 'Darling Arithmetic' [2015] and, most recently, 'Where Have You Been All My Life' [2016]. 2008 - Band formed 2009 - Release of 'Hollow Kind' E.P.
