OVERVIEW The Vibes is a five piece band originally from Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim. The group was formed by siblings Leo Logan [Vocals & Guitar] and Joanne Logan [Backing Vocals]. The line up was filled out by Stephen McKenna [Drums], Ronan Murphy [Guitar] and Michael McGovern [Bass Guitar]. The band's reputation was growing and, in 2005, The Vibes won the 2FM Song Contest as well as the National IMRO An Tostal Song Contest. In April 2006, the band released its debut single, 'Just Another Love Song' through Wood Records. While the single was well received, it took the band some time to follow up on this release. Throughout 2007 and 2008, the band went through significant line up changes. In 2009, a new look band emerged with the Logans being joined by Gerard Bracken [Bass guitar], Christopher Nottingham [Guitar] and Martin Raftery [Drums]. The first new material in over 3 years came in the form of 'You'll See My Heart' which was released as a digital download in November 2009.
