The band existed in several guises from 2006 until 2009 when they settled on the Utopian Ruins name. The band line up featured Jordan McEvoy [Vocals], Gary Fox [Guitar], Shane Booth [Guitar & Vocals], Seán O'Connor [Bass Guitar], Cozzy Cosgrave [Drums]. They released one EP during its lifetime. This was the eponymously-titled 'Utopian Ruins' EP which was released on 01 June 2009. This 4-track collection was essentially a re-hash of a demo that the band had recorded under a different incarnation. The EP featured 'Unleashed', 'Overcoming Tyranny', 'Turmoil' and 'Nation Under Siege'. The band came to an end some time around 2011. Seán O'Connor went on to play with Venus Sleeps.
