If Idlewild are the sun, then Turn are those really powerful night lights that try to do the sun's job when it's not around. To their credit, they sound one hell of a lot better live than they do on record, and also to their credit their better known songs, ('Beretta' 'Too Much Make Up') get quite a good reaction. However I feel that the crowd's positive reaction springs more from the Idlewild/Turn fanbases being made up of similar people, than from Turn actually winning some fresh converts. Still the first band on getting a genuinely good reaction is a rare thing, so well done Turn.
