OVERVIEW Transmitter are a rock band from Portlaoise. The band was formed in the early part of the 2000s after the demise of Blue Monday. The original line up of the band featured Stewart Quinn [Vocals & Rhythm Guitar], David Quinn [Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals], Robert Quinn [Drums] and Eugene Molloy [Bass Guitar]. Both Stewart and David had previously palyed with Blue Monday. The band made its recorded debut in 2004 with the release of 'Hold On' single.
