1991 - 1991

OVERVIEW Sweetmouth was a once off recording project featuring Brian Kennedy [Vocals] and Mark Nevin [Guitar & Songwriting]. Nevin had previously been the guitarist with Fairground Attraction, a UK pop band who reached number 1 with the song 'Perfect'. That band split during the recording of their sophomore album in about 1990. However, Mark had an amount of material written and was looking to record and release the work. He approached Kennedy with a view of doing just that - and so, Sweetmouth was born. The fruits of the relationship came in the form of the 'Goodbye To Songtown' album in 1991. There are no other known collaborations between the pair. Kennedy went on to build his singing career with a string of successful albums and singles. Nevin too went on to launch a solo career releasing a number of titles of his own. 1991 - Project started - Release of 'Goodbye To Songtown' album
