WEXFORD 1999 - 2000
OVERVIEW
The Swans was a short-lived outfit featuring Brendan Wade [Vocals, Uileann Pipes & Whistles] and Paul Bell [Guitar, Piano, Keyboards, Bass Guitar & Accordion]. Wade had played with celtic-rockers, Cry Before Dawn, while Bell had been a member of The Lookalikes and Zerra One. After the demise of their previous outfits, the pair teamed up as The Wild Swans. In 1999, the name was shortened to The Swans. Soon after the name change, the duo released its debut album, 'Photographs & Letters'. However, by 2000 the band had undergone another name change becoming Bell & Wade.
