2008 -

OVERVIEW SuperState was formed in 2008 in Bailieborough, Co. Cavan by Daire O'Reilly, Shane Dillon and Steve Mullen. The band play a few times as a 3-piece including an appearance in Crawdaddy. Soon afterwards, the band's ranks were swelled with the addition of Cathal O'Reilly on Bass Guitar and Dave McCarthy on Keyboards. The band recorded their first EP with Karl Odlum and this was released in October. 2008 - Band formed - Release of 'When The Guilty Panic' EP [04 October]
