OVERVIEW Supernaut was a once off recording project by Dave Long and Shane O'Neill. The pair, both from the Churchtown area of Dublin, were better known for their time with their respective groups. O'Neill had fronted Blue In Heaven & The Blue Angels while Long was with Backwards Into Paradise and Into Paradise. In the early 1980s, the pair had played together in bands such as Cretins and Amuse. Supernaut released a self-titled debut album in 1999 on Dirt Records. The album was produced by Alan Montgomery [The Dixons / Revelino] and featured tracks such as 'Sun Just Shines' and 'Merry Go Round'. 1999 - Release of 'Supernaut' album
