1993 - 1999

OVERVIEW Sunbear was an indie / shoegazing band from Dublin. The group was formed in 1993 and featured Martin Kelly [Vocals & Guitar], Paul Kelly [Guitar], Coln Morris [Bass Guitar], Patrick Moran [Drums]. Joe Chester would later join the group on Keyboards and Guitar. During the band's career, Sunbear released an eponymously-titled album in 1994 and two EPs - 'Bits & Pieces' [1996] and 'Dog' [2000]. In Spetember 2009, Indiecater Records released a compilation album, 'Bits'. The collectiongathers together tracks from the bands two EPs as well as a number of unreleased demos. The band played regularly. One of the highlights of its live career was when they got to support Suede in Belfast.
