OVERVIEW Sun was a short-lived musical project which was active during the early part of the 2000s. The group was fronted by Derek Herbert who had previously played with Luminants, Les Enfants and The Big Noise. He was joined in the band by Ray Harman on guitar. Ray is better known from his time with Something happens. The line up was completed by Rob Malone on Bass. Rob had also played with Lir and Hothouse Flowers. The band recorded a demo in 2001 which featured tracks which were due to appear on a debut album. The band released a single, 'Crawl' in 2003. However, it's unknown if the album was ever released. Derek and Rob went on to play together once again as The Superseeds. 2003 - Release of 'Crawl' single
