OVERVIEW
The Strutts was a 60-influenced pop-rock band from Dublin. The group was formed in late 2003 / early 2004 with a line up of Liam Gardner [Vocals & Guitar], Danny McMahon [Vocals & Guitar], Ger Boyle [Drums] and Pete Dowling [Bass Guitar]. The lineup has changed several times since this original formation. However, the latest lineup known featured Liam Gardner [Vocals & Guitar], Daragh O'Connell [Lead Guitar & Vocals], Jacqueline Campion [Drums] and Thomas Nugent [Bass Guitar].

The band released one self-titled EP during its career. The 5-track release featured 'Had It Too', 'Easy To Forget', 'Down', 'Tomorrow' and 'People Talk'. The collection showcased the band's Beatles-influenced pop-rock.

In 2010, the band changed its name to The Statics to overcome challenges to the use of The Strutts moniker.
