DUBLIN 2003 - 2006
OVERVIEW
Stars Of The City was a pop-rock band from Dublin. The group was formed in December 2003 with a line up of Mark Austin [Vocals & Guitar], Brian Carroll [Guitar], Tom Cosgrove [Bass Guitar] and Shane Kinsella [Drums]. Thge band quickly established themselves on the live circuit and in 2004, they were chosen to perform at the SXSW Festival. Later that year, they also performed at the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival in Dublin.

The band released a solitary single during its lifetime. The single '128' was released in November 2005 and peaked at #41 in the Irish Singles Chart.

In 2006, the band (minus Brian Carroll) re-emerged as The Minutes and went on to greater success.
