OVERVIEW It began with Grattan getting kicked out of one school and joining Sandymount high, where he met Arron who introduced himself by shouting "where you goin", asking him to help take the classroom door off its hinges. Now knocking around together and jumping school to make the pilgrimage to don Fayes (aka Arron's dad) rockshop, the home to Arron's drum kit; we could kick and bang as loud and as late as we wanted. All we had to do was pull the shutter and make sure the place was locked up after. Too old for school, too young for work, it was during this time wandering the streets that Grattan bumped into the lad with the funny hat who happened to be writing. Thats all he seemed to do. Write. Right? Grattan asked "what are ya writing?" to which he replied, Its just a hand. It only made sense when Grattan found out that Cricky had almost lost his hand once. Cricky said it was like losing your ear before you had ever got a chance to hear anything. The one thing Arron And Grattan had was time and plenty of it. Hands were turned to projects like crazy house building, film acting and band management to mention just a few, but there seemed to be more fun had in the basement of 44 messing around with sounds, realizing they could actually do this shit seriously. It was then Grattan thought of Cricky, saying to Arron "our sounds, his words this could be something" and from that thought StarLittleThing was born. This is their first of many offerings.
