OVERVIEW Starchild was a Cork-based band which was active during the 1990s. The group featured Alan Murphy [Vocals & Guitar] and Lisa Bafaigh [Vocals]. The pair had previously performed together in The How And Why Insects and Crystal. Starchild's sound could be best described as being trip hop in nature, however, there were also other influences. In 1995, the band contributed the track 'Whisper' to the 'Ten By Ten ::: Volume 1' compilation.
