FROM 2005 - 2008
OVERVIEW
Stagger Lee was a noir-influenced rock band based in Dublin. The group was formed in about 2005 and featured a line up of Donna McCabe [Vocals & Keyboards], Grum Gallagher [Guitar], Benni Johnston [Bass Guitar] and Justin Lynch [Drums]. Donna had previously performed with hi.rise along with Andrew Rooney and Anthony Patterson of Twinkranes fame.

The band played a number of gigs during the 2005 - 2006 period. The following year, the band performed as part of the IMRO Showcase Tour with a gig at the Limelight in Belfast In April of that year, the band released its debut single, 'Bad Shoes' on its own Split Lips Records.

In 2008, it came to light that there was another band trading as Stagger Lee, therefore, the quartet decided to change its name to The Dagger Lees. However, that lineup only survived until 2009. Benni Johnston went on to join Logikparty.
