OVERVIEW Spellbound is a psychobilly band from Bray which has been active on the Irish scene since the mid 1980s. The group was originally formed by brothers frankie and Adrian Hayes. Over the years, the band has gone through a multitude of personnel changes, however, the most reent line up included Frankie Hayes [Vocals & Guitar], Dave McDonald [Guitar & Backing Vocals], Simon Farrell [Double Bass & Backing Vocals] and Glen Carrigg [Drums]. Other members have included Adrian Hayes, Brian O'Higgins and Philip Hayes [aka Doyley]. The band spent much of its formative years playing rockabilly and psychobilly festivals across Germany and Scandinavia. It was some time before Spellbound built the same reputation back home.
