2007 - 2008

OVERVIEW Sonus was a short-lived outfit from Cork. The band was formed in 2007 by Alan Matthews and Keving Power. The pair soon recruited Andrew Maxwell [Drums] and Alex Millar [Bass Guitar] to complete the line up. Maxwell was later replaced by Alex Petcu. Towards the end of 2007 Sonus went into studio to record a demo. Entitled 'Initial Demonstrations', the 4-track sampler was issued in early 2008. Shortly after this, the band decided on a name change and Versives was born. 2007 - Sonus formed by Alan Matthews and Kevin Power - Andrew Maxwell [Drums] and Alex Millar [Bass Guitar] join the group - Andrew leaves the group and is replaced by Alex Petcu 2008 - The 'Initial Demonstrations' demo is released - Band changes its name to Versives
