OVERVIEW Solar Bears is the musical project of John Kowalski and Rian Trench. The pair met while studying together and, in 2009, they decided to embark on a musical project. The name of the band is derived from the Russian Science Fiction film of the same name. In August 2009, the pair released the 'Internal Sunshine' EP through Planet Mu Records.
