OVERVIEW Slow Skies is the musical alias of Karen Sheridan. Karen is folk-pop artist who originally came to fame as the singer with Kasette who released 'A Mixed Tape' EP in 2010. In the wake of the EP release, Karen moved to London to focus on her music career. While there, he met Conal Herron, a producer and multi-instrumentalist. This encounter resulted in the birth of the Slow Skies project. The new outfit played a number of gigs aroun London before returning to Ireland. The pair wasted no time in reocrding its debut EP, 'Silhouettes'. The EP was released in June 2012 on the band's own Sleeping Giant Records.
