LIMERICK 2013 -
OVERVIEW
Slow Riot is a post-Punk band based in Limerick. The group features a line up of Niall Clancy [Vocals & Bass Guitar], Aaron Duff [Guitar] and Paul Cosgrove [Drums]. Niall had previously performed with The Vagabonds. The band, which came together in 2013, is known for creating brooding, punk-influenced music which has drawn comparisons to the likes of The National. The band released its debut single 'City Of Culture' in June 2015. `The track garnered a lot of positive feedback and reviews. A second single, the bass-driven 'Demons' followed in early Septmber. Collectively, these first two singles formed half of the band's debut EP, 'Cathedral' which was also released in September 2015.

At the time of writing, the band was readying its next single release, 'Trophy Wife' which is slated for an April 2016 release.
