DUBLIN 2008 -
OVERVIEW
Sleep Thieves was formed in the Summer of 2008 by Sorcha Brennan [Ellison 9, The Butterfly Explosion & Little Xs For Eyes], Wayne Fahy [Mendoza & Abam] and Derek Murphy. The band made thieir live debut in November of the same year and were soon attracting attention. This lead to group playing as part of the 2009 IMRO Showcase Tour.

On the 29th May, the band's debut release, 'It Was Only A Satellite' EP was released. The following day, the band played support to Saint Etienne at the Cork Opera House.
