On the strength of skindive's new single 'tranquillizer' they are a band that are set to blow the cobwebs out of the local music scene. 'Tranquillizer' is a beautiful blast of sonic power that sucks you in and spits you out with fabulous ferocity. The dramatic vocals and the powerful guitars combine to produce a treat that leaves you wanting more. And we should not be waiting too long to hear more, because the bands self-titled debut album is out soon. Skindive are Gerry Owens, who was born in Dublin and raised in Trim, bassist Alan Lee and drummer Ger Farrell plus Danielle Harrison from LA who provides the female vocals. The single includes the original demo version of the single. The band are playing a gig at the PoD next Thursday (15th February). The single is to be released on February 16th on Palm Pictures.
