2008 -

OVERVIEW Sixteen Layers came into being in 2008. However, the four members played together as Alligator since 2006. The line up of the band features Niall Donnelly on Vocalks & Guitar, Dom Muldoon on Guitar, John Colbert on Bass, Keyboards and Vocals and Tim McGrath on Drums & Percussion. Since their name change in 2008, the quartet wasted no time in completing and self-releasing their debut album, 'I Am No One'. The long player was released in 2009 and was supported by two singles, 'Eight Miles Down' and the double A-Side 'Exile / Into The Sun'. Sixteen Layers returned in July 2012 with the first new material in a few years.
