OVERVIEW The end of the world may or may not be approaching and Simon and the Ghost are hear to sing us out with glory. Musicians of the Apocalypse as it were. Completely disconnected from our so-called scene here in Ireland these three young men really couldn’t give two flying fucks for whats ’’hot’’ right now. What jeans your wearing, what haircut you have. Fashion has infected many peoples ears these days like a disease and well quite frankly its time to throw this whore out of the bed having realised she has corrupted you to your very core. Music is music and one thing this band can promise is plenty of it. These three young men met only a short time ago and with their powers combined (much like the ’power rangers’) they have modelled themselves in the format of a jazz trio who delve into places they have never dared to go musically. Experimentation and musicianship is the name of the game here people. With a goal of earning the title of a ’power trio’ much like those of the mid-late 60’s, Simon and the Ghost blend their love of Jazz, Metal, Rock, improvisation and grand ’soundscapes’ to create their distinctive and unusual sound.
