OVERVIEW Silver Cirus is a rock band based in Claremorris, Co. Mayo. The group was formed in 2004 by Niall Hughes [Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals & Mouth Organ], Jack Grimes [Guitar, Keyboards, Synthesisers & Backing Vocals], Dan Egan [Vocals & Guitar], and Rickie O'Neill [Drums & Percussion]. The band draws inspiration from the likes of Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. Over the course of its career, the band is known to have recorded an amount to material, to demo stage at the very least. These recordings included 'Ths Pain', 'What You Want', 'Call To Arms' and 'Reap What You Sow'. It's not known if there were any official releases from the band. In 2009, the band made some significant live performances. The band travelled to Switzerland to perform in the festivities surrounding Guinness 250th Birthday celebrations in Zurich. In Novemeber, the band made a number of live performances in Alsace [France].
