OVERVIEW Silo were an punk rock band from Cork. Originally formed in 2001, the band went through several line up changes before settling on a line up of Philip Murphy [Guitar & Vocals], Shane O'Leary [Guitar & Bass Guitar], Cian O'Leary [Guitar & Bass Guitar] & Eoin Ryan [Drums]. Over the coming years, the band recorded a number of demos, notably with Finny Corcoran of The Belsonic Sound fame. In 2006, the band contributed the track 'Wouldn't Wanna Waste' to the Southern Fried 2 compilation which was a sampler of Cork-based talent. By 2009, the band were building up the the release of their debut album. In February, they released their debut EP, 'Unlucky For Some'.
