2006 -

OVERVIEW Sideproject is an alternative rock band from Cork. The band came together from the ashes of other Cork-based groups and featured Tom Kavanagh [Vocals], Michael Cusack [Guitar], Alan Cusack [Bass Guitar], Diarmuid Curran [Guitar] and David Lynch [Drums]. The group wasted no time in playing live. In their first live appearance, the quintet won their heat of the UCC Battle Of The Bands competition. The band was soon in studio with Ross O'Donovan. The output of these sessions was the 'Take Shelter From The Stars' EP which was released on 18 January 2007.
