OVERVIEW Shaefri is a young singer-songwriter. She was born in London to Irish parents. Her father is of Irish and Egyptian heritage. Shaefri grrew up in Co. Mayo where she developed her love of music. In 2009 she came to the attention of Universal Music. Two of her songs 'Ridin' on the Railroad' and 'A Distant Memory' were recorded at Metropolis Studios in London. In December 2011, Shaefri released her debut EP. Entitled 'Venture' the EP contained 'Hold Me Close', 'Love Games' and 'Standing Alone' as well as the title track.
