BELFAST | BANGOR & HOLYWOOD, CO. DOWN 2007 - 2008
OVERVIEW
SevenStoryWeather was an indie pop-punk band which was active during the latter part of the noughties. The group featured members from Belfast and Co. Down - Jonny Erne [Vocals], Travis Gilbert [Vocals & Guitar], Richard Hill [Guitar], Benji Harbinson [Bass Guitar] and Andrew Bleakley [Drums].

In the Summer of 2007, the band was offered the opportunity to perform at Campfest, a festival in Slovakia. The grabbed the opportunity which also saw them playing to their largest audience to date. Soon afterwards, they came to the attention of Rob Stephenson of Blastspace Records. Soon the five-piece was in the studio recording tracks.

The band's first release was 'Better Brand New Day' which, when released in 2008, climbed to the summit of the Blastspace charts. That year also saw the band finish runners up in the Blastspace Competition which was held in The Limelight in Belfast. They would later travel down to Dublin to compete in the All-Ireland final of the competition.

However, the band came to an end sometime after this. Jonny went on to perform with Two Conversations. Travis, Richard and Andrew would recruit Callum Cairns on Bass Guitar and form Colly Strings.
