CORK 2001 -
OVERVIEW
Scribble are a four-piece that were formed in August 2001 and released their Debut album "thought for the day" in November 2002.

Declan and Neil have been friends since the age of four following a blazing row in which Neil wouldn't let Declan have a go on his scooter.

Dara and Declan met in college in Galway and they worked on a few musical projects together. They became friends and even spent a summer in California working with some sane and some crazy people.

Yvonne and Declan met in Galway where they were studying the same course in college. They talked about music a bit, then they started playing a few gigs and even did a bit of recording. Dara joined in with some of the recording bits.

When they found themselves together in Dublin in July 2001 they decided to put Scribble together. After a bunch of gigs in Dublin's main live music venues they hit the recording studio and released their "Barry Sebastian" single in May 2002 which was highly praised in "Hot Press". They followed this by launching their debut album to critical acclaim in Jan 2003. They are currently gigging around Ireland.
