OVERVIEW The band is made up of the Colfer brothers - George (Drums & Percussion), Liam (Bass, Double Bass, Vocals, and Driving), and Stephen (Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Fender Rhodes, Piano, Synthesiser, Eco Keyboard, Glockenspiel, Vocals, Harmonica, and Programming). Their cousin Niall (Vocals, Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Piano, and Recorder) rounds out the line-up of one of Wexford’s finest exports. In 2000 Salthouse came out of nowhere to release their first recording, the “Over Here EP”, to much critical acclaim. The Event Guide said; “Salthouse are leading up to something truly inspired”, while Dave Fanning posed the question; “are the Colfers the future of rock n’ roll?”
