OVERVIEW
Martin Staunton & The Lost Parade is a folk rock band based in Dublin. Originally formed in 2006 as the Martin Staunton Band, the line up features the aforementioned Staunton [Vocals, Guitar & Harmonica], James Kemp [Bass Guitar], Noel Doherty [Drums & Percussion], Emma Staunton [Saxophone & Backing Vocals], Grainne Foster [Piano & Violin] and Aoife Ruth [Hammond Organ & Backing Vocals]

The band made its recorded debut in 2006 with the release of the 'My Luck Is About To Change' single. The track was very well received and ascended to No. 15 in the Irish Singles Chart in octiber of that year. A further single, 'Falling From Above / The Night' followed in July of 2007.

In 2008, Staunton teamed up with the Sharon Shannon Band to record a version of the Stevie Wonder classic 'Superstition' for the Even Better Than The Disco Thing compilation.

The band then concentrated its efforts on completing their debut long-player. Released in 2009, 'Martin Staunton & The Lost Parade' gathered together 11 slices of groups unique blend of folk, rock, jazz and country.
