2005 - 2006

OVERVIEW Formed as a band in January 2006. Originally an idea started by Daveit Ferris [vocals/guitar] and Ciaran Harrigan [Guitar/Vocals] in November 2005. Jay Dickson [Drums/Vocals] of Daveits Former band, The Mascara Story, [Kerrang Unsigned Competition winners 2005] joined in early January, which was just before the band were handpicked to support FallOutBoy on their first Irish Tour. A few lineup changes ensued on the pursuit to find the "perfect" band in such a small, often musically unmotivated town. The Band recorded as a three Piece for the First EP, "Your Scissors/My Seatbelt", which was recorded with Longtime Producer and Friend, Neal Calderwood [The Mascara Story, Fighting With Wire, The Answer]. The EP was recorded at the end of February 2005 over 4 days. But the band chose to include the use of Two Guitars and Piano [which was to become an integral part of the bands sound]. After the addition of two guitars on the EP, the band decided to change to a four Piece. Thom Hegarty[Bass/Vocals] was recruited around April 2006, after several auditions at jays school. The band dabbled with a fifth member for a few months, but after careful consideration, decided that it would be in the bands best interests to remain a 4 piece, with Daveit and Ciaran taking over Piano/Keyboard Duties. 2005 - Band formed [November] 2006 - Jay Dickson joins the band [January] - Release of 'Your Scissors / My Seatbelt E.P. - Thomas Hegarty jons the band on Bass Guitar [April] - Band split [November]
