| OVERVIEW Formed in 2003 by Steven Connolly and then guitarist David Reardon, Reemo have come along way since their first demo. A new double AA single is about to be released and a now confident Reemo are ready to take on the world. Recorded with Producer Martin Quinn “Who you are” and “Line” are about to set your radios alight. Since heading Stateside and having won 'Best International Band' at the New York International Music Festival, the band are been taken seriously with the music industry. The 2005 'Music Box' EP confirmed this with the band receiving extensive National and local airplay in Ireland. 'Superman' and 'Circus' becoming favourites of one National broadcaster. Today, Reemo comprises Steven Connolly (Vocals), Paul McGlue (Lead Guitar), Conleth Dunne (Bass Guitar) and Alan Connolly (Percussion). The band has spent the past two years, honing their sound to one which can only be described as 'Reemo', rhythmic rock beats, intrigued guitar work and honest lyrical content. The Kildare based band has become a familiar name on the Irish circuit. Venues such as Whelan's, The Sugar Club and The Voodoo Lounge now featured alongside clubs in Europe. Plans for a US mini tour later in 2006 are currently under way. 2005 saw the band support Noel Gallagher’s side project, 'Tailgunner' in Galway. Reemo also won a 'Hot Press' competition to support The Revs during 2006. Not wanting to waste any time Reemo are already planning the follow up to “Who you are” and “Line”.
