The group was originally formed by John Delaney [Acoustic Guitar], David Harte [Bass Guitar] and Niall Thompson [Drums]. The group went through a number of personnel changes before settling on a line up Matthew Delaney [Vocals], Adam La Cumbre [Guitar], Shaun Costello [Rhythm Guitar], David Harte [Bass Guitar] and Niall Thompson [Percussion]. The group played two gigs with this formation before deciding that a name change was in order and so the band became Small Town Heroes. There are no known releases from Rage Against The Gauge. David Harte has also gone on to play with Bebop & Rocksteady.
